Corporate Citizenship

Periowave™ has always been supportive of good will performed by its employees and customers. Here is a sampling of some of our recent work:

Kindness in Action

Dr. Veronique Benhamou’s group of 15 travelled to rural Peru in January and February of 2010, providing two weeks of dental care for some very needy men, women and children. Periowave™ has proudly sponsored this trip for two years. Learn more, and watch the video from our friends at RF Productions, by going to the story in our news section.

Mountain Excursions

Periowave™ users seem to have a special affinity not only for philanthropy, but also for climbing Mount Kilimanjaro. Periowave has sponsored three such climbs: Dr. Jonathan MacArthur and his team climbed in 2007 to join the fight against Malaria.
Dr. Daniel Laramee climbed in 2010 for CHIP for Teens.
Registered Dental Hygienist and Periowave™ clinical trainer Jasmine Theberge has also climbed Kilimanjaro, raising funds for MS research.

Balding for Dollars

In May 2009, Thomas Masterson (then the Marketing and Sales Coordinator for Periowave, and still an employee of Ondine Biomedical Inc) shaved his head for "Balding for Dollars" at BC Children’s Hospital, raising money to help families cope with the struggles of having a child with cancer.

Special Clinics

Periowave has helped clinics with special purposes for a number of years now. Providing free product to organizations such as the Kelowna Gospel Mission, and Montreal General Hospital’s HIV/AIDS program allows many people to have their gum disease treated effectively, with less pain and no potential for drug interactions.
